The name of this room takes inspiration from the lady who took care of the house. Once it was rare to meet people from other towns and when that happened they were labelled as foreigners, hence the nickname Vicaiola, to point out that this lady came from Gargano’s Vico.

 

In the seventies, after centuries of cultural isolation, thanks to the discovery of the Pugnochiuso area, Vieste opened its doors to the world showing its beautiful natural treasure,  becoming, in this way, the most visited tourist destination in Puglia.
