Cristalda

Cristalda’s room is inspired by the famous legend of Cristalda and Pizzomunno, which tells the story of two lovers who, because of a wicked spell, are forced to live apart and meet once every hundred years. According to the legend, Cristalda was kidnapped by mermaids jealous of their love, dragged into the abyss and forced to live in the blue waters of the Gargano, while Pizzomunno, torn by pain turned to stone, becoming a huge monolith that can still be admired from Scialara beach.

For the umpteenth in the history of Vieste, the sea and the earth meet to fulfil a man’s desire.

The room is inspired by the personality of this young woman who, thanks to a mixture of love, grace and kindness, ménages to reunite with her beloved. The colours of the earth and the authentic frescoes, that dominate the room, are the elements that characterize a romantic setting that overlooks a land that smells of sea.

La camera si ispira alla indole di questa giovane donna, che grazie a un intreccio di amore, grazia e gentilezza riesce a ricongiungersi con il suo amato.
I colori della terra e del Castello, e gli affreschi autentici che governano la stanza sono gli elementi caratterizzanti di una bomboniera romantica che si affaccia su una terra che profuma di mare.
